With her unique brand of inspirational and thought provoking talks, Yasmin Mogahed has become one of the most sought after speakers in the Muslim world. After graduating with a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communications, she pursued a career in writing.

Yasmin worked as a writing instructor at the Cardinal Stritch University and a contributor to the The Huffington Post. She has had great success with her debut book Reclaim Your Heart which was released to critical acclaim. Currently, she’s an instructor for AlMaghrib Institute.

Dalia Mogahed

Researcher, pollster and advisor

Researcher and pollster Dalia Mogahed is an author, advisor and consultant who studies Muslim communities. As Director of Research at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, Dalia Mogahed keeps her finger on the pulse of the Muslim world. She served on Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighbourhood Partnerships in 2009.

Mogahed is a former director of the Gallup Centre for Muslim Studies, where her surveys of Muslim opinion skewered myths and stereotypes while illuminating the varied attitudes of Muslims toward politics, religion and gender issues. Her 2008 book with John Esposito, Who Speaks for Islam? What a Billion Muslims Really Think, outlines these surprising findings.

Hammadur Rahman Fahim

Director of EIIS and Researcher at Bayyinah Institute

Hammadur Rahman Fahim memorised the Qur’an at the age of 14 at Darul Ulum in Bolton (UK). He graduated from the prestigious Al-Azhar University in the Faculty of Islamic Law (Egypt) with a BA (Hons) degree in Islamic Jurisprudence. He has also gained Ijazah (classical certification) in several Qirat (recitation), including Hafs, Warsh and Hamzah.

Hammadur Rahman Fahim is a researcher at Bayyinah Institute. Currently he teaches Arabic and the Qur’an at the European Institute of Islamic Sciences.
